My works are large-scale watercolours exclusively on precious paper from Nepal - KAHARI, and Japan - AWAGAMI.
KAHARI paper is the most luxurious paper in the world. It is made from Daphne fibres and has a proven durability of over 500 years. Its unique structure combined with a fluid quality gives me artistic freedom, setting lines and shapes in motion to bring the dynamics of light and shadow into an atmospheric field of tension. My visual language is juxtaposed with sensibilities, the concentrated elemental force of nature, the grasp of breathing, life and death.
